Casa Rojo is a dynamic Spanish winery founded in 2009 by the husband-and-wife team José Luis Gómez and Laura Muñoz, both seasoned winemakers known for their creative approach to oenology. The project began as an itinerant concept—producing wines across Spain’s key regions without owning vineyards—before establishing roots in 2015 in the scenic Paraje de La Raja valley in Murcia, nestled between Sierra del Carche and Sierra de La Pila. Casa Rojo’s philosophy blends artistry, regional authenticity, and innovation, emphasizing native grape varieties that embody the essence of Spain’s diverse terroirs.
Their acclaimed “Wine Gurus” collection showcases distinct Spanish appellations such as Rías Baixas, Valdeorras, Rioja, Ribera del Duero, and Jumilla, through wines like The Invisible Man (Rioja), The Orange Republic (Valdeorras), and MachoMan Monastrell (Jumilla). Recognized by Wine & Spirits as one of the “100 Best Wineries in the World” in 2014, Casa Rojo combines expressive labels, storytelling, and high-quality craftsmanship to convey the cultural and sensory richness of Spanish wine. Today, the winery cultivates 23 hectares of Monastrell, Garnacha, and Syrah, with exports reaching over forty countries—embodying the vision of “creative wines reflecting Spain’s terroirs”.
